Rep. Andy Ogles Predicts Michelle Obama Will Replace Biden in 2024

Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles recently made headlines by predicting that former First Lady Michelle Obama will step in as the Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential election, replacing President Joe Biden. Ogles shared his views during an appearance on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show, highlighting Biden's health issues and frequent public gaffes as reasons for his skepticism about Biden's ability to run for re-election.

Ogles emphasized that Michelle Obama is the most likely candidate to rally the Democratic base and mobilize a robust grassroots campaign. He argued that the former First Lady has the unique capability to assemble a strong fundraising network and galvanize support rapidly, making her a formidable candidate for the Democratic Party.

According to Ogles, "The only person that could put together on the Democrat side a grassroots army and a fundraising mechanism, in really a moment’s notice, would be Michelle Obama".

This speculation comes amid broader discussions within the Democratic Party about potential replacements for Biden. California Governor Gavin Newsom, another prominent figure often mentioned as a possible candidate, has publicly declared his support for Biden and denied any intentions to run in 2024. Newsom stated, "President Biden is going to run, and we’re looking forward to getting him reelected".

The idea of Michelle Obama stepping into the race is not entirely new. Rumors and discussions about her potential candidacy have circulated for months, fueled by her popularity and the substantial influence she holds within the Democratic Party.

Despite this, Michelle Obama has repeatedly stated that she has no interest in running for political office. Nevertheless, Ogles and others believe that the situation might change, especially if Biden decides to step aside.

Additionally, the ongoing legal troubles of Hunter Biden, the President's son, are adding to the uncertainty surrounding Biden's candidacy. Republican critics argue that these issues could further weaken Biden's position and increase the likelihood of a last-minute change in the Democratic ticket.

While it remains to be seen if these predictions will come true, the speculation underscores the dynamic and unpredictable nature of the upcoming election cycle. With the political landscape rapidly evolving, both parties are preparing for what promises to be a highly contested and consequential election.
